Ryan Monsen

Ryan Monsen is a seasoned traveler, customer experience (CX) expert, and data analyst with an impressive professional background. He holds a post-baccalaureate degree in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) from Penn State University, where he developed his passion for spatial visualization, and a BSBA in International Management and Marketing, with dual minors in Political Science and Middle East Studies from the University of Vermont. Ryan has worked for well-known companies such as Hewlett Packard, AARP, and Clarabridge, gaining extensive experience in CX analytics, survey design, sentiment and text analysis, micro-market mapping, and business consulting.

Ryan's professional journey started in Chennai, India, where he worked as a research analysis intern and logistic intern for Madura Micro Finance Ltd. In 2015 and 2016, Ryan worked as a business insights consultant for Clarabridge, where he collaborated with fortune 500 companies across different industries to develop CEM strategies through data analysis and VOC analytics. Ryan then joined AARP in 2018 and worked as their main Voice of Customer Analyst, where he helped the membership and digital teams create business synergies by aggregating consumer listening sources utilizing an omni-source approach to CX. Ryan currently works as a Customer Experience Analyst for Hewlett Packard, using his extensive experience to enhance the customer experience.

Ryan's expertise spans various areas, including mapping and visualizing data, customer experience analytics, VOC analytics, survey design, and sentiment and text analysis. His experience working with different companies in different sectors has honed his analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ryan's passions include adventures and traveling, as evidenced by his work as a resident advisor, trails leader, adventure course supervisor, camp counselor, and life guard at Kieve-Wavus Education, Inc.
