I'm not a Google fan at all but the counter-argument to this is: There is no one better on the planet than indexing and ranking data than Google (in terms of scale, performance, breadth, etc.). It wouldn't surprise me the least if Google makes leap in their context windows for search results. Perhaps more importantly, I bet they change portions of their ad models so that you can pay for your content to influence AI search results. They may be behind right now but they have billions in cash. They are their own worst enemy with their woke bs operations but don't sleep on them.
