Matthew Achariam is a co-founder and co-CEO of Clay, a rising tech startup making waves in the industry. With a diverse educational background, which includes a B.A in Mandarin and Computer Science from the College of the Holy Cross, he brings a unique blend of linguistic and technical skills to the table.
Before Clay, Matthew played a key role as the Product Design Director at Custora, an analytics company that catered to Fortune 500 clients such as Tiffany & Co., Marriott International, and Patagonia. This Y Combinator-backed company was recently acquired by the Seattle-based unicorn, Amperity, solidifying its success in the market. Prior to this, Matthew was the Product Lead at LayerVault, where he gained valuable experience working on product development and strategy.
Additionally, Matthew also served as the Principal at FortySix, showcasing his leadership abilities and expertise in the industry. His passion for design and community led him to become a part of Designer News, one of the internet's largest communities of designers, before it was acquired by Metalab.
Matthew stands out in his field, with accolades that include being recognized as one of the most creative minds in Malaysia by the Prime Minister in a nationwide competition. This recognition highlights his dedication and talent as a professional.
