Monica Vasquez Del Solar

Monica Vasquez Del Solar is an experienced social entrepreneur, business development, and impact investment professional, with a career spanning over 15 years. She completed her education at prestigious universities in Spain and Peru, including the Universidad Nacional Agraria La Molina, Colorado State University, and the Universidad del Pacífico, among others.

Monica has held several leadership positions throughout her career, including Head of Business Development and Partnerships at Social Nest Foundation, Associate Professor at Universidad Pontificia Comillas, and Andean Region Director at NESsT. She has also worked as a consultant for Stone Soup Consulting and NESsT, and as a pre-doctoral researcher at the Universidad Pontificia Comillas. Her expertise in social entrepreneurship, business development, and impact investment has taken her across the globe, including in the scaling Innovation Program IDRC-FIDA.

Throughout her career, Monica has demonstrated her passion for promoting sustainable business models and social ventures, particularly those in biodiverse regions. She has taught Diplomado Innovación y Emprendimiento at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, and consulted for the Ministerio del Ambiente Peru on negocios basados en biodiversidad e instrumentos de financiamiento.
