    Lauraberth Lima is a seasoned professional with a strong background in education and community engagement within cultural institutions spanning over a decade.

    She brings a social justice perspective to arts programming and holds expertise in intergenerational engagement, health equity, youth development, early childhood education, museum and art education, and specializes in programming for LGBTQI+/gender non-conforming communities.

    Lauraberth's most recent role was as the Director of Education at No Longer Empty, overseeing Family and Community Engagement Programs as well as the Internship in Museum Education Program at the Museum of the City of New York.

    She is a founding member of The Love Yourself Project, NYC, and actively contributes to The Committee to Empower Voices for Healing and Equity in New York City.

    With a diverse professional history, Lauraberth has held various roles such as Family Programs Coordinator at the Brooklyn Museum, Education Director at the Boys and Girls Club of Boston, Teaching Artist with the Healing Arts Initiative, and Lead UPK Teacher in a Brooklyn Head Start program.

    Currently pursuing Pre-Medical Studies at The City College of New York, Lauraberth has also contributed as a Researcher at Mount Sinai Adolescent Health Center.

    Lauraberth Lima holds a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Photography, Video and Related Media from the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan, complemented by a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Sociology from Providence College.
