With a strong educational background, Emily studied Public Health at Casa de las Americas, completed her Master of Social Work (MSW) at the University of Washington School of Social Work, and holds a BS in Education and Social Policy with a focus on Human Development and Psychological Services/ Global Health from Northwestern University.
Emily has gained valuable experience through various roles, including being the SBIRT Project Coordinator at Highline Public Schools, a Social Work Intern at the University of Washington School of Social Work, a Course Advisor at Voyageur Outward Bound School, a Lead Culinary Instructor at Seattle Cucina Cooking School, and a Lead Instructor at Voyageur Outward Bound School.
