Rico Gomez

Rico Gomez is a dedicated and experienced young leader passionate about equipping youth and creating innovative solutions for equity issues in under-resourced communities.

He holds a Master's degree in Teaching: English Language Arts from Relay Graduate School of Education and a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with specializations in Marketing and Management from Regis University.

Rico has been actively involved in various organizations, including serving as the Social Justice Department Chair and former Social Justice Teacher at KIPP Colorado Schools.

Furthermore, he has experience as a Graphic Designer, Fellow at Moonshot edVentures, Corps Member at Teach For America, and Strategy Intern at DSST Public Schools.

Rico's leadership roles also extend to his involvement as the President of the Regis University Student Government Association, Student Chair of the Diversity Council, and President of the Regis University Business & Entrepreneurship Club.

His professional journey includes roles such as Work-Based Learning Team Associate in the CareerConnect Program at Denver Public Schools, ¡DALE! Program Intern at Servicios de La Raza, Inc., and Outreach Intern at Bennet for Colorado.

Rico is keen on collaborating with organizations and individuals aligned with his passion for education, social justice, marketing, and graphic design.
