Duke Kim is the Founder & CEO of Phyto Corporation, a dynamic agri-food tech startup revolutionizing the food industry with the groundbreaking plant-based salt called "PhytoSalt". PhytoSalt can effectively decrease sodium consumption by 40% and possesses carbon negative properties, offsetting -396kg CO2e per kg. Products incorporating PhytoSalt can significantly lower their carbon footprint or attain carbon neutrality.

Furthermore, Duke Kim is a proponent of Salicornia cultivation for climate change mitigation, emphasizing its role in blue carbon sequestration as a Nature-Based Solution (NBS). Salicornia exhibits an impressive annual CO2 sequestration rate of approximately 493 tons/ha/yr.

In terms of education, Duke Kim pursued a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Design at the University of Houston, achieving a notable GPA of 3.95 out of 4.0. Additionally, he holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Jeonbuk National University.
