Catherine Bate is a seasoned Organisational Development (OD) practitioner with a diverse background and a strong emphasis on cultural measurement and change, executive and leadership coaching, leadership development, change management, and communication.
With a career spanning various sectors, Catherine has a proven track record of working with a wide range of individuals, from frontline workers to senior partners in prestigious law firms. Her approach involves challenging self-assumptions to drive individuals towards achieving goals beyond their comfort zones, leveraging her insightful and personalized methods that are characterized as creative, honest, and direct.
Having founded EQuilbrist, an independent OD consultancy, in 2001, Catherine has also held senior roles in HR development consultancies, professional services firms, national training organizations, and academia, where she lectured on Change Management and Organisational Development. She holds a Master's degree in Commerce, a postgraduate Management qualification, a Graduate Diploma in Business, and a Bachelor of Arts. Additionally, Catherine successfully managed and later sold her own book production business from 2009 to 2014.
