Russell Rakouskas
Russell Rakouskas is a seasoned higher education professional with a rich background in student support at both secondary and post-secondary levels. With a focus on a student-centered approach to advising, he brings a unique perspective on the challenges and opportunities students encounter during the transition to college. Russell's educational journey includes an M.Ed. in School Counseling and a Post Graduate Certificate in College Admission Counseling from Suffolk University, along with a Certificate in Human Services from Holyoke Community College and a B.A. in Theater from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. His professional experience spans roles such as Assistant Director of Undergraduate Academic Advising at Northeastern University College of Engineering, School Counselor at Andover High School, College Counselor/ELA Tutor at Suffolk University Upward Bound, and School Counseling Intern at Weston High School. In addition, Russell has previous experience in the service industry as a Server/Bartender at Pizzeria Paradiso and in the performing arts as an Actor/Director at Hampstead Stage Company.
