Shelley Talbot

Shelley Talbot is a highly educated individual with a Master of Research in Sociology with Distinction from the University of Portsmouth, a Level 3 Certificate in Management of Volunteers from The Institute of Leadership and Management, and a 1st Class Master of Arts (MA) in Philosophy and International Relations from the University of St. Andrews.

Shelley has held various roles in different organizations, showcasing her expertise in volunteering and program management. Currently, she works as the Community Volunteering Programme Manager at Leonard Cheshire. Previously, she served as the National Volunteering Development Manager and the National Volunteer Recruitment Officer at Leonard Cheshire. Her experience also includes positions such as Programme Manager, Project Manager, Researcher, and Project Coordinator at Xchange Scotland. Additionally, Shelley has worked as a Volunteer Co-ordinator at Leonard Cheshire Disability and as a Student Support Worker at Randstad.

During her time at the University of St. Andrews, Shelley was involved in several impactful initiatives. She was a Former R&A Scholar, the Convenor of the Student Voluntary Service at the University of St Andrews Students' Association, and the Founder of the Town & Gown Befriending Scheme at the University of St Andrews Students' Association.
