Ying Wang01 is a highly accomplished Senior Lead User Experience Specialist with a wealth of expertise in user experience and human factors. With a background in Ph.D. Industrial Engineering from Tsinghua University, Dr. Wang brings over a decade of experience in building safety and wellbeing in a variety of industrial and service domains, including transportation systems and consumer products.
Her professional experience includes having held the same position at GfK, where she provided valuable insights into automotive HMI, ADAS, self-driving cars, eye tracking, statistics, and data mining. As an Associate Professor in the School of Transportation Science and Engineering at Beihang University, Dr. Wang conducted impressive research work that sought to build safety and wellbeing in many industrial and service domains. Her research included diverse industrial contexts that placed great emphasis on human factors, vehicle safety, automation systems, transportation systems, engineering psychology, design research, and user-centered research.

Currently, Dr. Ying Wang serves as a Senior Lead User Experience Specialist at Ipsos in Greater Chicago Area. She is an expert in qualitative and quantitative analysis and has conducted extensive research studies aimed at developing solutions that enhance user experience, improve productivity, and promote user safety.
