Ying Wang is an accomplished Sr. Lead User Experience Specialist with an extensive background spanning both academia and industry in the areas of user experience and human factors. Dr. Wang holds a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from Tsinghua University, where she specialized in Human Factors, and conducted postdoctoral research at MIT's Center for Transportation and Logistics and the AgeLab. With her wealth of knowledge, Dr. Wang has created safe and effective designs for a range of systems, including transportation and consumer products.
Dr. Wang's experience ranges from academic research and teaching to leading user experience teams in market research firms, such as Ipsos and GfK. Her areas of expertise span engineering, statistics, data mining, and qualitative and quantitative analysis. Dr. Wang's specialized knowledge extends to ADAS, self-driving cars, and automotive HMI, and she has used eye-tracking technology to analyze human behaviors and design effective, intuitive interfaces, leading to improved user experiences.
Dr. Wang's dedication to research and her passion for safety and wellbeing has set her apart in the industry and academia. In addition to her work in the industry, Dr. Wang has taught at Beihang University, where she served as an Associate Professor. She has also completed an MBA at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
