Wendy McGuinness

Wendy McGuinness is the founder of the McGuinness Institute, which aims to shape discussions on New Zealand's long-term future through a think-and-do tank approach.

With a background in risk management as a Fellow Chartered Accountant, Wendy McGuinness has experience in both public and private sectors.

Her educational journey includes studies at Manukau Technical Institute, Auckland University, Otago University, and additional environmental courses at Massey University.

Wendy McGuinness is dedicated to youth development through intensive workshops and has contributed to research on foresight and scenarios.

She has served on various boards and advisory panels, including McGuinness and Associates, Futures Thinking Aotearoa, and the Ministry for Economic Development Buy Kiwi Made Campaign reference group.

Wendy McGuinness has undertaken courses in leadership, futuring, and corporate performance at esteemed institutions like the Institute of Directors in New Zealand, Leadership New Zealand Forum, and Harvard Business School Executive Education Program.
