Omar Christidis is the Founder and CEO of ArabNet, a prominent events and media company that focuses on the web and mobile industry in the Arab region. Under his leadership, ArabNet has become a key organizer of major conferences for the digital sector across the MENA region, including annual events in cities like Beirut, Dubai, and Riyadh. The company also publishes news and analysis related to the web and mobile industries through its online portal and print magazine, The ArabNet Quarterly.
Before establishing ArabNet, Christidis gained experience in private wealth management at a family office in New York, where he worked on managing a diverse portfolio of assets worth $1 billion. He also served as a consultant at Booz & Co. in the MENA region, engaging in various projects across industries such as energy, technology, media, and public sector.
Christidis has been recognized for his entrepreneurial impact; he was selected as a high-impact Endeavor Entrepreneur and featured in GulfNews Magazine's “30 under 30” list in 2012.
