Warrick Lee

Warrick Lee is a highly experienced Environmental, Social and Equator Principles Manager at Rand Merchant Bank. He holds a Bachelor of Science Honours in Environmental Science as well as a Bachelor of Commerce Honours in Economics.

With a background in sustainability assurance and advisory at both PricewaterhouseCoopers and KPMG, Lee has extensive experience conducting environmental due diligence assessments on mining and industrial sector companies. As Rand Merchant Bank's Environmental, Social and Equator Principles Manager, Lee ensures the implementation of necessary controls and the seamless application of the Equator Principles and the Environmental and Social Risk Assessment (ESRA) process across the FirstRand Group.

Lee's role involves providing guidance to key individuals across the bank with regard to compliance with technical environmental regulatory requirements. He is also responsible for tracking and mitigating environmental and/or social risks. Furthermore, Lee has been extensively involved in the development of Equator/ESRA awareness and advanced training material and presenting that training across the bank.
