Tristan Welch is a highly accomplished chef with a rich culinary background that spans across various prestigious establishments in London, Paris, and Scotland.
Starting as a commis chef at City Rhodes and later continuing his journey at Le Gavroche under Michel Roux Jr., Tristan's talent was recognized with the Award of Excellence from the Academy of Culinary Arts.
He further honed his skills at L'Arpège in Paris before taking on his first head chef role at the renowned Glenapp Castle Relais & Châteaux hotel in Ayrshire, Scotland, where he garnered multiple awards including 3 AA rosettes and the Gordon Ramsay Scholarship Award.
Returning to London, Tristan Welch served as the head chef at Gordon Ramsay's Petrus at The Berkeley, where he earned 2 Michelin stars and various accolades such as the Best Restaurant Award in the Harden's Guide.
In 2008, he successfully relaunched Launceston Place and received critical acclaim for his modern British menu, leading to several awards including Best Restaurant in the London Time Out Guide and wine awards from reputable sources like Tatler and Wine Spectator.
Tristan's talents have been showcased on various TV programs including BBC's Great British Menu and Saturday Kitchen, as well as appearances on Food Network USA and Food Network UK.
Currently, he serves as the Co-Owner of Parker's Tavern and has formerly held positions as Executive Chef at Mustique Company Cotton House and Chef Patron at Launceston Place among other notable roles.
