Tom Costin is the Managing Director at Owl Ventures, the largest venture capital firm in the world focused on the education technology market with over $2 billion in assets under management.13 He has worked across all business and investment facets to help build Owl Ventures since its inception in 2014.2

Prior to joining Owl Ventures, Tom held numerous investment, managerial and advisory roles, including:

• Private Investments Specialist at Cambridge Associates, where he advised or invested on behalf of families, nonprofits, endowments and pension funds with assets ranging from $800 million to over $200 billion on their venture capital and private equity investments2
• Associate at FLAG Capital2

Tom serves as an advisor to the education deal team for the Stanford GSB Impact Fund.2 He received a B.A. from Bowdoin College and an M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.24
