Tom Cioppa is a highly accomplished individual with a diverse background in military service, government leadership, and academia.
With over 26 years of experience in the US Army, Tom's service included combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, culminating in his retirement as a Colonel in 2011.
Tom's post-military career saw him rise to the Senior Executive Service with the Department of Homeland Security, where he held various director roles within the US Citizenship and Immigration Services.
He received the prestigious Meritorious Presidential Rank Award during his tenure in the Senior Executive Service.
Transitioning to the academic realm, Tom has taught courses for institutions like Kansas State University, Baker University, and the Naval Postgraduate School.
His educational achievements include a Ph.D. and MS in Operations Research from the Naval Postgraduate School, an MA in National Security and Strategic Studies from the Naval War College, and a Bachelor of Science from the US Military Academy.
Currently, Tom is the Vice President for Leader Development at Franklin IQ, where he provides leadership consulting and project management services to various government agencies, such as the Department of Veteran Affairs, Environmental Protection Agency, and US Navy.
