It eliminates the need to scan a QR code, read back then type in a PIN or tap on a NFC tag.  This works over BLE through software on any mobile device or kiosk, and the process is protected by four granted patents.

Cookies enabled the web to automate experiences, our technology enables a cookie for the physical world.  The vision is for mobile devices automatically work as agents for us in our pockets, rather than requiring us to unlock phones, open apps, then input data manually.

Examples of use cases are apps that share files with anyone nearby, setting rules like drop a pin on a map when you park a car or display your airline gate information when you approach digital airport signs.  We work with large companies like Unilever, Lufthansa, Intel, Deutsche Telekom & dozens of small developers.

Created initial treatment of the game and UX for its accelerometer based play, developed challenges making it compelling to players.   This was a role to deliver a new game and unique user experience with a product launch for the Black Eyed Peas Wil.i.am called Riddim Ribbon.

Role: Design and UX consultant to the CEO, Wire-framed the design and managed outside contractors for the game's artwork. Storyboarded the treatment of multiple levels, challenges. Before launch, quality controlled the pre-release game for debut before SXSW Interactive.

Riddim Ribbon launched at the end of February 2010 and within two days became the #1 iTunes in-app top grossing game for the period.

Tapulous was sold to The Walt Disney Company on July 1, 2010.

Roles: Business development, shifting into the enterprise space for SaaS revenue.  Developed a product roadmap around data warehousing and information management.  Created go to market materials and a strategy to engage these users, licensed to agencies and brand owners to monitor their consumer's conversations online.

Frequently spoke on behalf of the company at social media focused events such as TechCrunch.  Brought on clients such as Comcast Networks, Salesforce, SAP and agencies for consumer product goods.

Product and Business Development

First US hire within this Israeli team to help refine an open source media player (based on XBMC/Kodi) a 10-foot user interface Cord Cutters/OTT video.  This project is an alternative to the former Windows Media Center and was a decades early version of today's AppleTV.

Roles: Honed the user experience of the product with the development team before launching. Met with media content distribution partners about licensing their content on the platform.  Promoted to hundreds of developers to build applications and plug-ins.  Worked with hardware prototype and ID companies on the Intel Atom platform and unique industrial design.

Achieved one-million downloads as a result of grass roots marketing and publicity.  Refined the pitch deck and went on the road show with the CEO to raise venture capital.  Was the "face" for the company, speaking at dozens of industry and developer events.

The Comcast owned G4TV cable and satellite network broadcasted live from special events such as the yearly Consumer Electronics Association annual CES show.

Role: Consulting producer on "Attack of the Show" working months ahead of the live broadcast to identify the compelling new product releases and slotting them for on-air coverage.  Was on-air talent describing many of same devices.  Was remote host for Apple product announcements for the iPad, iPod Touch and unibody laptops.

This early "feature phone" service gave SMS capable phones the ability to send a quick action or reminder to a web service from a text short code.

These requests were used to create lists or reminders that would show up at your computer, email in-box or as a rich interface with links to search or shopping.

The service also brought "agents" for automation with Netflix, TiVo, Yelp, Amazon or other third party sites to add movies to queues, items to wish lists, etc.  With Kwriy, a single text message like "TiVo Nova" or "Netflix Casablanca" can complete your request via their SMS to web agent.

This company was closed at the end of April, 2009 and its intellectual property and code has been purchased by Wabco, LLC.

From humble beginnings in the KLIF Dallas radio studio, we brought cameras and switching gear in each week to produce a live triple-cast of television, radio and Internet via <a href="http://Broadcast.com">Broadcast.com</a> (formerly Audionet.)  We created more than 300 original episodes of entertaining and educating television over the run of the show.  Our weekly 2-hour long form “radio format” live call in show taught viewers “everything you need to know about the Internet and the world wide web” along with my specialty of the gadgets and gear to help you make the most of it.  This show was shortened to 1-hour in order to syndicate around the US and ultimately world as it was seen in the Middle East and even China once over-dubbed.  In later years, this show became the 30-minute “Net Talk Interactive” when it could no longer be aired and produced live as ABC, CBS and NBC affiliates picked up the broadcast.
