Sumedh Risbud

Sumedh R. Risbud, a Chemical Engineer, carries vast scientific and R&D expertise in Mathematical Modelling. His interests span across various fields including Fluid Mechanics, Statistical Physics, Soft Matter Physics, Colloid and Interfacial Science, Computational Biology, Neuromorphic Computing Algorithms, and Computational Neuroscience.

Sumedh pursued his education at renowned institutions, obtaining his B.Tech. and M.Tech. from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and his Ph.D. from The Johns Hopkins University.

Throughout his career, Sumedh has held significant positions in prestigious organizations. He currently serves as a Research Scientist at Intel Labs. Previously, he worked as a Sr. Imaging Scientist/Software Engineer at Intel Corporation, a Postdoctoral Associate at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and a Visiting Scholar at Rutgers University. Sumedh has also gained experience as a Research Assistant/Graduate Student at Johns Hopkins University and as a Summer Intern at various esteemed institutions like Max Planck Institute for Molecular Genetics, Max Planck Institute for Dynamics of Complex Technical System, and Tata Institute of Fundamental Research.
