Tim Shea

Tim Shea is a professional who utilizes emerging technology to empower individuals, specializing in neuromorphic computing, intelligent edge devices, and real-time machine learning.

He is dedicated to promoting diversity and inclusion within AI and computational neuroscience and welcomes discussions on opportunities in technology research and development.

Tim holds a PhD in Cognitive and Information Sciences from the University of California, Merced, a BS in Computer Science from California State University-Sacramento, and has studied Computer Science at American River College.

His professional experience includes working as a Research Scientist in AI/ML at Intel Labs, having previously held roles as Tech Research Principal at Accenture Labs Future Technologies, Tech Research Associate Principal at Accenture Labs AI, Graduate Teaching Fellow, and Research And Teaching Assistant at UC Merced, as well as Information Systems Technician at the State Water Resources Control Board.
