Stacy Handler

Stacy Handler is an experienced arts administrator and advocate currently serving as the Managing Director at Urbanity Dance, a non-profit organization based in Boston. She has over a decade of experience in senior leadership roles within various prominent arts institutions across New York, Boston, and Baltimore. Handler specializes in fundraising strategy, having successfully raised millions to support artistic programming and spaces. Her expertise includes expanding donor networks and securing institutional support while fostering sustainable organizational practices.12

Handler holds a Master’s degree in Performing Arts Administration from New York University and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Emory University. She is also a classically trained mezzo-soprano and has a background in dance, having graduated from the Ballet Etudes Company of South Florida. Originally from Miami, Florida, she now resides in Baltimore with her family.12
