Global IoT Council provides strategic guidance to the international community on governance and cooperation priorities for IoT technologies, while also helping to facilitate and advance policy initiatives across the Centre’s network for global technology governance.

The Council is composed of global leaders from government, industry, the start-up community, civil society and academia. It seeks to shape the public policy and corporate governance innovation agenda through collaborative discussions, leveraging the expertise and insight of its members.

The World Economic Forum is an independent international organization committed to improve the state of the world by engaging business, political, academic and other leaders of society to shape global, regional and industry agendas.

I am honored to receive the recognition of a 'Technology Pioneer 2019' from WEF. Technology Pioneers are emerging innovators from a diverse set of industries, are considered extraordinary in their achievements, and possess an entrepreneurial track record. 

They shape the future by advancing technologies such as AI, IoT, robotics, blockchain, and many others. The Technology Pioneers are selected by a selection committee of more than 59 academics, entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, and corporate executives.
