Shane Rae BA, MA, FRSA

Shane Frsa is a seasoned consultant and interim support specialist with a broad range of expertise spanning various industries including SaaS, eCommerce, media, publishing, edtech, data science, AI, machine learning, and mobile. He is a specialist in strategy development and is customer-first oriented, with a successful track record of forming strategies/roadmaps, building teams, and mentoring them for success.

Shane has a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology from the University of Victoria and has studied Digital Media Marketing at Bournemouth University, Software Engineering at the University of Oxford, Organisational Analysis at Stanford University, and Design Thinking for Innovation, Distinction at the University of Virginia.

Shane's career journey started at Pearson as a Senior Product Manager, where he distinguished himself through his excellent work, leading to his promotion to Head of Product Innovation at Oxford University Press. He subsequently served as the Group Head of Product Development at GL Education before joining Tes as the Global Head of Product. Following this, he took on the role of Product Director (Interim) at Discovery Inc before moving to News UK.

Currently, Shane serves as Senior Vice President Of Product (Interim) at Ocean Technologies Group, where he is leveraging his extensive experience to drive growth and innovation. He is also a former Managing Director at Kiwago Education Ltd.
