Manage a team of more than 60 PMs and 60 designers (product design, user research, content strategy) and lead the Global Supplier product organization, which is responsible for our worldwide Supplier and Merchandising experience. Head of Product and Design, Global Supplier & Merchandising

Manage a team of 50 PMs and lead the Global Supplier product organization, which is responsible for our worldwide Supplier experience. Representing half of Wayfair’s 2-sided marketplace platform, Suppliers are a key strategic partner in fueling the company’s growth. 

Successfully led the Empowered Product Team transformation of the 500+ person Global Supplier org, working across the technology, commercial, ops, and finance orgs to ensure that teams had deep user empathy, close partnership with stakeholders, and strong problem and solution discovery capabilities.

Founding leadership member of Global Product Community and crafted Product Discovery Playbook, which was rolled out across 400+ person PM team across all of Wayfair.

Worked with the CEO and leadership team on product strategy, product craft best practices, and recruiting, resulting in substantial business growth and IPO. Assisted in interviewing and hiring CTO/CPO.

Managed and led the 25-person PM team responsible for delivering the Tools & Services that 20+ million customers rely on to help them create a home they will love. These experiences include:
•	Mobile apps (iOS + Android) that are responsible for multi-billion-dollar revenue contribution, growing near 100% in volume YoY. Led a multi-year App experience overhaul, which dramatically improved the quality and performance of the apps.
•	Physical Retail customer and associate workflows, including launching and opening Wayfair’s first retail store in Natick, MA.
•	Private label/cobranded credit card and financing alternatives, including delivering a new partner integration and rollout with Citibank.
•	Wedding Registry, which serves to drive early-lifecycle customer acquisition.
•	User Reviews to aid customer shopping and provide suppliers with programs to increase review coverage.
•	3D AR and VR experiences, including partnering with Apple and Google. The team’s work was highlighted in Apple’s 2021 WWDC Keynote presentation.
•	Home Services (Assembly, Warranty, Installation), including launching a 2-sided marketplace app for assembly/installation professionals.

Partnered with Engineering, Design, and Analytics to deliver these experiences to customers. Additionally, served as interim manager and leader for a team of 25 designers and 10 user researchers for 10 months, until a Head of Design was identified.

Director of Product Management, Customer Tools and Services

Manage and lead PM team responsible for crafting and executing the strategy for QuickBooks Online, to power the prosperity of small businesses around the world, impacting the efforts and outcomes of the 300+ person SMB segment across engineering, design, marketing, and care.
• QuickBooks drives accelerating 58% YoY subscriber growth, reaching more than 2.3 million users and delivering than $400 million in annual revenue.

2015  - 2017: Director of Product Management, Payments

Managed the Payments PM team, representing $400M+ in annual revenue. Products include QuickBooks eInvoicing, QuickBooks Payments, GoPayment Mobile POS, a 4+ star mobile app on iOS and Android. Deployed team to "Enable the Small Business users we serve to deliver the Uber moment of
'frictionless payments' to their customers."
• QuickBooks eInvoicing transaction volume grew 400%+, result of multiple years of nearly 100% YoY growth, due to introduction of disruptive business model (free ACH bank transfers), improved pricing, and product enhancements. Work drove 90% increase in cohorted charge volume and 35% increase in revenue.
• Served as E2E leader for QuickBooks Point of Sale, responsible for product, experience and user design, marketing, sales, care, engineering, business development and partnerships, and finance for $80M+ SMB product.

Cofounded Product Management Development Program (PMDP) to hire, develop, and grow the next generation of Intuit leaders. Program hired 30+ undergrad and MBA candidates over first 3 seasons.

Director of Product Management, QuickBooks Online

January 2015  -  August 2015: QuickBooks Payments
Led QuickBooks Payments team, representing $200M+ in annual revenue. Provide payment processing services for eInvoicing and payment transactions via credit card and ACH.
• Built PM team of 4, crafted Connected Payments vision and strategy and won approval from stakeholders and executives.

May 2014  - January 2015: QuickBooks Online, Core Workflow 
Led the Core Workflow team for QuickBooks Online.
• Deployed resource shift of ~20% of engineering team to ensure successful migration of 500k users to updated QuickBooks Online Harmony version by rapidly tackling customer issues. Work resulted in 37% contact rate reduction (187 index to 20% reduction target) and was recognized with CEO Care Club Award.
• Managed team of 4 PMs that delivered key improvements in invoice customization capabilities, financial and management reports.

January 2014  -  May 2014: QuickBooks Online, First Time Use
Led the First Time Use team for QuickBooks Online to deliver on the vision of “Intriguing in 30 seconds, Engaging in 7 minutes, Indispensable in 30 day, I'm in!” Primarily responsible for continued QuickBooks subscriber growth.
•  Managed a team of 5 product managers, responsible for user experience, personalization, payments on- boarding, data import (from QuickBooks Desktop, competitive products), and voice of customer.
•  Used Growth Hacking techniques to orient prospects to QuickBooks value prop, optimize trial funnel, encourage referral, and accelerate 40%+ annual QuickBooks growth rate.
•  Incorporated Behavioral Economics principles to create optimal user experience and flows.  Collaborated with industry thought leaders, including Dan Ariely, Nir Eyal, and others.
• Represented Intuit and QuickBooks at industry events, including Consumer Electronics Show (CES), Midwest Accounting Show, Sleeter Group Accounting Solutions Conference.

Group Product Manager

Delivered a "Right for Me" First Time Use experience for the from-the-ground-up, transformational redesign of QuickBooks Online (Project "Harmony"). Utilizing Behavioral Economics principle of Labor Transparency resulted in $6 million annual revenue increase due to improved subscription conversion rate. Work led to numerous patent applications, named as inventor on two.

Worked to introduce mobile apps, services, and tools to let consumers express their creativity and manage their digital memories.
• Conducted weekly customer research sessions to gain customer empathy, understand problem space, and validate opportunities.
• Team created incubator environment to rapidly create, test, and release product concepts.

2010  -  2011: Creative Suite Mobile Apps and Services
Original product manager for initiative that became Adobe Creative Cloud, which includes online web services (SaaS), touch (mobile and tablet) applications, and desktop offerings.  Creative Cloud offers creative professionals a comprehensive tool for creation on the go. Project was released less than 8 months after conceptualized.
• Defined product, produced specifications, and collaborated with UI design and engineering teams on agile development effort, utilizing Scrum methodology.
• Championed novel business model, pitched to stakeholders and executives, and won approval.
• Led user research and met with over 20 customers to gather requirements for Creative Cloud social capabilities.
• Managed prerelease program with over 1,000 participants to gather user feedback and refine offering.

2009  -  2010: Flash Platform Services
Responsible for introducing services to help developers distribute and monetize their applications. Adobe InMarket was an app distribution platform that syndicated applications to numerous storefronts, allowing developers to reach the broadest audience.
• Secured commitments for over 1,230 applications from major partners and long-tail developers including AOL, PBS, Atari, Travelocity, Atlantic Records, Wired, TweetDeck, SlideRocket, Graphic.ly, and ThumbPlay.

Adobe Systems

Sr. Product Manager

Conceived idea for a software product and led 12+ person team to successful launch of Adobe Wave beta on Adobe Labs. Adobe Wave allowed web sites and publishers to send desktop notifications to their users.  Technology led to 5 patent applications, named as sole inventor on 2, joint inventor on another.
•	Conducted business development meetings with partners, culminating in 14 alliance agreements for MAX 2008, including companies such as Digg, MySpace, eVite, and Slide.
•	Drove external awareness of Adobe Wave by creating marketing collateral including postcards, posters, and videos and speaking at industry events such as the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, Web 2.0 Expo in SF, TechCrunch CrunchUp, Adobe MAX conference (SF and Milan) and Digital Hollywood Media Summit in NYC. Led social marketing efforts including initiatives on Facebook and Twitter.

Created initial business model, executive summary, and presentation for innovative, low-cost display technology. Raised seed funding and built proof of concept. Directed filing of U.S. Utility Patent Application and named as inventor.

Covered business and technology in Silicon Valley.  Wrote product reviews, technology features, event follow-ups, and personal interviews.  Interviewed prominent figures, including President Jimmy Carter, John Doerr, and John Chambers.  Helped develop connections between Stanford and Silicon Valley entrepreneurs.
