Sandhya Rao is a seasoned Principal Group Product Manager at Microsoft, overseeing various products for Microsoft Teams, the leading collaborative communications & messaging platform for work.

With a strong background in product management, Sandhya spearheads the development of purpose-built devices for Microsoft Teams, such as Teams phones, Teams Rooms on Android, Teams Displays, and Teams certified peripherals.

Notably, Sandhya played a pivotal role in the launch of Remote Assist, a mixed reality HoloLens experience integrated into the Teams platform, showcasing her innovation and vision in the tech industry.

Prior to her role at Microsoft, Sandhya served as the Global Head of Connected Home Software Solutions Product Management at Honeywell, where she led teams in creating cutting-edge IoT connected home solutions.

Sandhya's extensive career also includes leadership positions at various software startups, where she honed her skills in product development and management.

Before transitioning to tech, Sandhya spent a decade at American Express, holding several leadership roles focused on developing interactive and innovative software solutions for both businesses and consumers.

Sandhya Rao graduated with a B.A. with Honors from Harvard University and completed her MBA at Yale University's prestigious Yale School of Management, solidifying her academic foundation for her successful career in the tech industry.
