Ilya Bukshteyn

Ilya Bukshteyn is a highly accomplished product leader at Microsoft with extensive experience in technology and business strategy. He currently serves as the VP of Microsoft Teams Calling, Devices, and Premium Experiences.1

In his current role, Bukshteyn leads a team responsible for the strategy, product delivery, and business results of Teams Phone and Teams Devices, including Microsoft Teams Rooms, Teams Phones, Teams Displays, and Certified Teams Peripherals.1

- Creating a devices portfolio strategy across first-party and third-party devices

Prior to Microsoft, Bukshteyn worked at TransEnergy Management Inc. and Sierra Systems.1 He holds a BCompSc in Computer Science from Simon Fraser University and the University of Victoria, as well as a Diploma in Computer Information Systems from Douglas Community College.1
Bukshteyn is also a naturalized U.S. citizen, having become one specifically to be able to vote.2
