Ruhani Walia is a dedicated individual with a strong passion for leveraging economic principles, data analysis, and cutting-edge technologies for the betterment of society.
Currently pursuing an Honours Bachelor of Science in Economics with a specialization in Data Analytics, Computer Science, and Statistical Sciences at the University of Toronto, Ruhani has been recognized as a National Scholar and Laidlaw Scholar.
With a diverse range of experiences, Ruhani has co-authored research at the Institute for Research on Public Policy (IRPP) focusing on Canada's social policy implications in the digital economy and is actively involved in a project at the Stanford Digital Economy Lab investigating the global economic shift from physical to digital realms.
As a co-founder of a non-profit that provides essential medication in Nigeria and with involvements in areas like blockchain, open banking, and behavioral insights, Ruhani has honed skills in data analysis, writing, presentations, and interpersonal communication.
Eager to further explore the economics of the digital and information economy, Ruhani is driven by a strong desire to make a positive impact on people's lives globally.
