Vinay Nair is a well-educated entrepreneur, professor and former hedge fund manager with expertise in economics, finance and quantitative strategies. He is the co-founder, CEO and co-chairman of Positivly, a company on a mission to help people improve their mental and physical wellbeing through AI-powered coaching. Prior to that, he founded and served as CEO of The Tifin Group and Market Insight Out, and co-founded and served in leadership roles at Magnifi, 55Ip and Ada Investments.

Nair started his career as a doctoral student and instructor at New York University before becoming a fellow and professor at The Wharton School, where he taught various courses in finance and economics. He also served as a visiting professor at the Sloan School, and held a fellowship at the Wharton Financial Institutions Center.

Nair's experience in finance includes managing quantitative strategies at hedge fund Old Lane. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Economics, Finance from New York University, as well as a Bachelor of Technology in Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
