Roy Schwartz

Roy Schwartz is a highly accomplished clinician with a wealth of experience in both medicine and computer science. He holds a degree in Medicine from the prestigious Hebrew University of Jerusalem, where he also worked as a research assistant. In addition, he earned a Doctor of Philosophy degree in AI-Enabled Healthcare from University College London.

With a special emphasis on imaging, clinical trials and leveraging big data and artificial intelligence to achieve patient-focused outcomes, Schwartz has built an impressive career in the healthcare industry.

He previously worked as Medical Retina Research Fellow at Moorfields Eye Hospital in London, where he focused on treating retinal diseases and supporting clinical trials. Prior to this, he held various roles as Physician, Information Specialist and Project Manager at hospitals such as Tel Aviv Medical Center, Sheba-Tel HaSHomer Hospital and Hadassah Medical Hospital.

Schwartz also has extensive experience in computer science and software development, previously working as a system analyst and UI specialist at Matrix, an educational software designer at IDF, and a physician assistant at Hadassah Medical Hospital.

Currently, he serves as a Specialty Doctor in Medical Retina at Moorfields Eye Hospital in London. He continues to pursue his passions for research and innovation, working toward the development of new treatment options and techniques that can improve the lives of patients in a variety of healthcare settings.
