Robert Dekkers

Robin Dekkers (they/them) is the founder and Artistic Director of Post, named "25 To Watch" by DANCE Magazine.12 They have choreographed and directed numerous collaborations for Post, including evening-length productions, one-act works, and dance films.1 Robin danced professionally with Ballet Arizona, ODC/Dance, Company C Contemporary Ballet, and Diablo Ballet, where they were nominated for an Isadora Duncan award.12

Robin's choreography has been presented at prestigious venues and festivals, including Jacob's Pillow, SF International Arts Festival, and Vienna's Tanzsommer Festival.1 They have received commissions from various ballet companies and are also the Artistic Director of Berkeley Ballet, the official school of Post::no-wrap[ballet.13]

In addition to their work with Post, Robin regularly teaches company classes for Smuin Ballet, AXIS Dance Company, and ODC/Dance.1 They hold a degree in business from Rio Salado College.12

It's worth noting that some sources refer to Robin as Robert, but the most recent and authoritative sources use Robin and they/them pronouns.13
