Richard Klein is the Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer of Sunday Supper, a plant-based frozen Italian food brand. With over 20 years of experience in the media and CPG industries, Klein is a seasoned product leader and design strategist passionate about creating products and experiences that inspire positive change.2
Klein started Sunday Supper with the idea of making delicious plant-based lasagna for friends. After receiving rave reviews, even from his most carnivorous friends, he was inspired to continue making and sharing the lasagna with more people.1 He teamed up with award-winning Italian chef Celestino Drago to create mouthwatering frozen lasagna, ravioli, and manicotti products made with simple Italian ingredients and vegan cheese and meat.1
Under Klein's leadership, Sunday Supper has quickly gained popularity for its incredible taste and mission-driven approach. The brand is dedicated to giving back to the community and animals with its delicious, plant-based Italian food.1 Klein aims to redefine the Italian CPG frozen food category with ingredients that are better for you, the planet, and the animals.2
Some of Klein's previous roles include Creative Director at ExquisiteCorp, Chief Creative Officer and Publisher at Four Two Nine, and Art Director at Macy's. He holds a BFA in Design from Carnegie Mellon University and is fluent in English and French.2
