Richard Blumenberg is an accomplished Residential Architect with extensive experience in creating warm and welcoming environments, specializing in traditional and Spanish-Mediterranean architecture. With a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Master of Architecture from the University of California, Los Angeles, Blumenberg has over 200 successful projects to his name. He offers direct and personal service to highly successful celebrities, business owners, and senior executives, including OPI's Suzi Fischmann, Friends producer Kevin Bright, Hans Zimmer, NBC Newscaster Patrick Healy, and other high-profile individuals. Blumenberg's work has been published in various interior design magazines such as Luxe, House Beautiful, House & Garden, California Homes, Los Angeles Home and Décor, the Los Angeles Home Book, and the 1991 California Interiors book. He received the year 2000 Calibre Team Award Honorable Mention for the Schapira Residence, given by the International Interior Design Association.
Blumenberg is a LEED® Accredited Professional (LEED AP) and a Safety Assessment Program Evaluator for Cal EMA. He uses his extensive knowledge of local codes and regulations to deliver practical and beautifully crafted homes within the promised timeline and budget. Blumenberg listens to his clients' needs, analyzing the site to come up with the best design solutions that cater to the clients' wishes, and supervises the entire construction phase to ensure the project is on track. He currently consults for the California Riviera Home Owners Association, Huntington Palisades Home Owners Association, Riviera Estates Home Owners Association, Palisair, and the Pacific Palisades Civic League. Blumenberg is a proactive community member and received a Certificate of Appreciation from the Mayor of Los Angeles for his contribution to Pacific Palisades.
