Rebecca Loftus

Rebecca Loftus is a seasoned professional dedicated to driving systems change for sustainable futures and promoting equity worldwide. With a background in education, she started her career as a high school science teacher and later ventured into curriculum design and integration. Rebecca is the founder of the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) Education WA community and has excelled as an education consultant and project manager. Her current focus lies in social impact and systems change, particularly demonstrated through her management of the CoderDojo WA community in 2016 and the development of the Fogarty EDfutures initiative in 2017 in Western Australia. EDfutures serves as a platform uniting individuals and organizations invested in advancing education. Building on these initiatives, Rebecca established IDEA: Innovation Design Entrepreneurship Academy in 2020 to nurture young innovators and creatives in Years 11 and 12.
