Dr. Philippa Ryan is a highly educated professional with a diverse academic background. She completed her Bachelor of Law in Law and Bachelor of Arts in English Literature at the University of Sydney, followed by a Doctor of Philosophy in Philosophy and Law from the same university. Additionally, she pursued a Master of Education at the University of Sydney, showcasing her commitment to continuous learning and academic excellence.

She has also been actively involved in the legal field, having served as a Barrister at the NSW Bar Association and as a Solicitor at Allens.
