    Peter N. Flocos is a distinguished professional with a strong academic background, holding a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, a master's degree from the University of Oxford in modern history and political philosophy, and B.A. and B.S. degrees from Penn.

    During his time at Penn Law, Mr. Flocos excelled as Editor-in-Chief of the Law Review, graduated Order of the Coif, and received the John M. Olin Prize in Law and Economics. He further honed his skills as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Roger J. Miner at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.

    For many years, Mr. Flocos served as a litigation partner at K&L Gates LLP in New York City, focusing on business and commercial litigation, M&A, federal securities litigation, and insurance coverage disputes. Additionally, he has experience as an arbitrator in US and London arbitrations.

    Transitioning to the Center for Financial Stability in June 2020, Mr. Flocos assumed the role of Managing Director for Policy and Regulation. Here, he contributes his expertise to a nonprofit think tank dedicated to financial market research and education for investors, government officials, and the public.

    Mr. Flocos is actively involved in academia as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Pennsylvania Law School, with previous teaching experience at the Wharton School. He continues his pursuit of knowledge through post-baccalaureate studies in mathematics and economics at Columbia University and the University of Pennsylvania.

    His interests extend to advocating Aristotelian eudaimonia, reflecting his diverse intellectual pursuits beyond the legal and financial realms.
