P.Eng Surej Kumar

Surej Kumar is a veteran Geomechanics Advisor with over 26 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. Kumar began his career as a Research Associate before becoming a Lecturer at Kuala Lumpur Infrastructure University. Currently, he serves as a Geomechanics Advisor at Schlumberger, providing Applied Geomechanics Solution for Oil & Gas Industry. Kumar is also a certified instructor for Schlumberger Internal Training University and NExT. His experience in the field spans 1D/3D/4D Geomechanics modeling, Real-Time Drilling Geomechanics, special project lead, and providing solutions for operational needs. Kumar had studied M.Eng, Petroleum Eng (Rock Mechanics) and B.Eng (Hons), Petroleum Engineering at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia.
