Quan Guo

Dr. Quan Guo, a highly accomplished professional, currently serves as the PERF (Productivity Enhancement Research Facility) Lab Manager and Scientific Advisor at Schlumberger. With an extensive background in the oil & gas industry, Dr. Guo has held various key positions within Schlumberger, including Program Manager and Scientific Advisor at the Schlumberger Gould Research in Cambridge, UK, and R&D Fellow and Manager of Industry Initiatives at M-I SWACO. His expertise spans geomechanics, mathematical representation of physics, and multi-disciplinary problem-solving skills that he leverages to drive value in the industry. Dr. Guo is a graduate of Northwestern University, holding a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, in addition to M.S. in Engineering Mechanics from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, and a B.S. in Mathematics and Mechanics from Lanzhou University in China.
