Paul Nolde

Paul Nolde is a seasoned professional in the banking, finance, and venture capital sectors, currently serving as the Fund Manager and Managing Director of the Riverflow Growth Fund, a seed-stage venture capital fund based in Richmond, Virginia. His responsibilities encompass all aspects of fund management, including business development, deal flow cultivation, due diligence, investor relations, and portfolio management, which involves board service for portfolio companies.14

With nearly two decades of experience, Nolde has held various significant roles prior to Riverflow. He was a director at NRV, where he co-led business development strategies and investment opportunity assessments. He also worked as the Small Business Capital Strategist at Virginia Community Capital, focusing on venture debt portfolios for growth companies and social enterprises. His earlier career includes positions at major banks such as Wells Fargo and Bank of America, where he held roles in sales and strategy.13

Nolde is actively involved in Virginia's entrepreneurial ecosystem, serving on several boards, including the Activation Council and CAV Angels. He is also an adjunct professor at the University of Virginia's Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy, where he teaches impact investing.12

He graduated from the University of Virginia in 2001 with a B.A. in Foreign Affairs and has pursued additional business studies through the McIntire School of Commerce.13
