Paul Carroll, Ed. M. is a seasoned professional with 20+ years of experience in leading teams in L&D, talent development and leadership development. As the Head of Colleague & Leadership Development at CVS Health, his passion is in developing leaders and colleagues to achieve their next level, while strengthening their skill sets in their current role and preparing them for their future role in the organization.

He accomplishes this by leveraging data, partnering with stakeholders across the business units, and providing a suite of innovative development programs. Currently, he leads an amazing Talent Development team of 25 professionals who take pride in developing an internal “workforce of the future”.

Paul is a reputed authority in the areas of strategic talent planning & succession planning, learning & development, organizational development & effectiveness, employee experience & culture. He has a Master’s degree in Education, Human Resources Development from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and a CFP in Financial Planning from Bryant University.

Apart from his profession, Paul has a personal mission - supporting fathers of autistic children. As an AutismDadvocate, he has created a website community dedicated to these amazing dads, where he shares his personal experiences of raising an autistic child. He also hosts a podcast series and actively engages with his followers.

Prior to his current role, Paul has worked with prestigious organizations in diverse industries such as financial services, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, and health care. These roles include Senior Advisor, Leadership Development, Organizational Development Manager, Senior Manager of Training & Quality, Advisory Faculty, Senior Manager of Training Services, Americas, Manager of Training & Professional Development, Instructional Designer, Leadership Development, and Senior Training Specialist.
