    Nadine Chapman

Global Employment Dispute Resolution and Human Resources. Strategic Business Partner, Change Agent and Problem Solver.

Nadine Chapman (B.S. '90) is a Senior Human Resources Account Manager at the World Bank Group.12 She joined the World Bank Group as a mediation officer in August 2000 and currently serves as the manager of mediation services.1 In her role, Chapman manages the International Finance Corporation's employment case management portfolio.2

Chapman is particularly notable for her efforts to increase diversity at the World Bank Group. In 2014, she initiated a program to create a pipeline between the World Bank Group and Howard University School of Law, allowing third-year law students to serve as associates at the institution.1 This program has welcomed 50 associates from Howard to date, with 10 additional associates joining in Fall 2022.1

Chapman's work in this area stems from her observation of the lack of African-American representation when she first joined the World Bank Group. She has personally mentored many of the associates and considers the program to be the highlight of her career.1
