Mobin Chowdhury

Mobin Uddin Chowdhury is a graduate student at SUNY University at Buffalo pursuing a Master of Science in Engineering Science with a focus on Data Science. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the College of Staten Island, the City University of New York, where he also minored in Business.

With a strong background in mechatronics research, Mobin has previously worked in a mechatronics research lab, specializing in developing setups for mechatronics and robotics experiments in advanced mechanical engineering classes and research projects. Some of his notable projects include the Feedback Control Robotic Arm, 3D printed thrust bearing, and Feedback Controlled 2D plotter.

Currently, Mobin is expanding his skill set by taking additional courses in data science, machine learning, Python programming, SQL, and iOS app development. He is actively seeking internship opportunities to leverage his expertise and further his knowledge in a data-related field, particularly within the fintech industry.

In addition to his academic pursuits, Mobin has also been involved in various organizations. He served as an Enrichment Specialist (Robotics) at Eagle Academy for Young Men and as an Undergraduate Research Fellow at City University of New York-College of Staten Island.
