Michael Shortt is a bilingual lawyer with expertise in common law, civil law, and trademark law, specializing in intellectual property, litigation, and contract drafting/negotiation, particularly within the videogame industry.

As co-Chair of Fasken's videoga dustry group, he offers legal and business advice to gaming companies on various issues such as IP protection, publishing contracts, and language requirements.

Michael also advises organizations on language rights obligations, Consumer Protection Act, and computer program installation regulations in Quebec and Canada.
