Michael Reininger

Michael Reininger is a seasoned executive known for his role as the founding Chief Executive Officer of Qiddiya Investment Company, a major entertainment and cultural development project located near Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Under his leadership from 2018 until late 2020, Reininger played a pivotal role in establishing Qiddiya as a key component of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 initiative, which aims to diversify the economy and enhance the country's entertainment offerings.

Reininger brought with him extensive experience from his previous positions, including significant roles at The Walt Disney Company, where he contributed to various high-profile projects, such as the launch of EuroDisney and the Disney Cruise Line. His entrepreneurial skills were instrumental in laying the groundwork for Qiddiya, where he oversaw the formation of project teams and the achievement of critical milestones during his tenure.124

In November 2020, Reininger transitioned from Qiddiya to become the Chief Executive Officer of Brightline Holdings, a high-speed rail company in the United States, where he is expected to leverage his extensive background in project development and management to drive growth and expansion initiatives.23
