Merja Ranta-aho

Merja Ranta-aho is a seasoned executive with a strong background in human resources and organizational development. She holds a Master of Science in Psychology from the University of Helsinki and a Licentiate in Technology in work and organizational psychology from the Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan. Ranta-aho has also completed the Stanford Executive Program at Stanford University Graduate School of Business.

Throughout her career, Ranta-aho has held various leadership positions at Elisa, a leading Finnish telecommunications company. She has served as EVP of HR, Vice President of HR, Vice President of HRD, Development Manager, and Development Consultant/Manager. Prior to joining Elisa, Ranta-aho was a Research Scientist at Helsinki University of Technology, Communications Laboratory, and an Editor at the same institution.

Ranta-aho's expertise spans HR strategy development, talent management, leadership development, change management, and employee engagement. She is a skilled communicator and has a deep understanding of how to create a positive and productive work environment.
