Meike Aukes

Meike Aukes is a highly qualified individual with a diverse educational background in music, music therapy, and various therapeutic methodologies.

Meike studied Music with a focus on jazz guitar at Djam - Opleiding voor jazz en lichte muziek and Music Therapy at Hogeschool van Arnhem en Nijmegen - Muziektherapie.

In addition to these studies, Meike has also completed courses in De-escalating Intervention Methodology, Motivational Interviewing, and Creative Therapy in Romania.

Furthering her education, Meike studied BA World Music in the Latin Department with a specialization in Guitar at Codarts, Hogeschool voor de Kunsten Rotterdam.

Throughout her career, Meike has been actively involved in various organizations, working in roles such as Student guitar in the BA World Music - Latin Department at Codarts, Hogeschool voor de Kunsten, and as a Freelance Music Therapist at Melodia.

Meike has also served as a project leader at Stichting Eiwerk and HVO Querido, organizing projects such as KWIK Vrij and KWIK Samen, showcasing her leadership skills and commitment to helping others through music.

Her experience also includes conducting workshops and music activities at DAC de Miranda, Ei-complex, and Jellinek, demonstrating her versatility in utilizing music for therapeutic purposes.
