Marta Sotto-Mayor

Marta Sotto-Mayor is a certified trainer, professor, and hospitality consultant dedicated to achieving exceptional results in service excellence and talent development.

With a wealth of experience in the hospitality industry, Marta has served in various leadership roles such as General Manager, Director of Operations, and Director of Sales & Marketing.

Her strong communication and leadership skills, coupled with extensive management expertise, cover a wide range of areas including hotel and restaurant operations, sales & marketing, food & beverage management, guest services, customer experience, talent development, mentoring, and training.

Marta holds a degree in Hospitality Management from Escola de Hotelaria e Turismo do Porto, a Postgraduate Hotel Management Course from Glion Hotel Management School, and a Strategic Hospitality Marketing Certificate from Cornell University.

Since 2016, she has been lecturing at Escola de Hotelaria e Turismo de Lisboa, INESP, Citeforma Professional Training Center, and other educational institutions.

As a certified trainer, Marta has developed programs and conducted training courses for major Hospitality Professional Associations in Portugal such as AHP and ADHP.

She is a senior hospitality management consultant, mentor, and expert trainer, offering tailored solutions to independent hotels, hotel chains, restaurants, and service firms.
