Markus Kirchberg

Markus Kirchberg is a seasoned information systems professional with over 20 years of experience across various domains. He holds a PhD from Massey University and specializes in distributed database systems. Markus has worked in academia, industrial research and incubation labs, as well as startups, demonstrating his abilities to design and build novel, commercially successful solutions in financial services, healthcare, payments processing, supply chain operations, and transportation. Besides his extensive project experience, Markus is also skilled in full innovation life-cycle management, cloud computing, data management at multi-petabyte scale, data privacy, and distributed ledger technologies, among others.

He is now the Head of Artificial Intelligence at Potion, and he was previously an Adjunct Associate Professor at the National University of Singapore and a Fellow at On Deck. Markus has a rich portfolio of organizations he has worked for, including Kommunity Ventures, Roboto Coding Academy, Wismut Labs, and SoptAI, among others.
