Markita Morris-Louis

Markita Morris-Louis is an accomplished leader with a diverse background spanning the financial services industry, housing and community development, and the performing arts.

Her professional expertise includes legal acumen, strategic partnership building, nonprofit management, negotiation, analytical skills, fundraising, and effective leadership.

Markita's educational journey includes a Juris Doctor degree from New York University School of Law, an A.B. in Africana Studies and Anthropology from Brown University, and a High School Diploma from J.R. Masterman Lab & Demonstration School.

Throughout her career, she has held key roles such as Chief Executive Officer at Compass Working Capital, Investment Advisor at Spring Point Partners LLC, Chief Strategy Officer at Compass Working Capital, and Executive Director at Arts + Business Council for Greater Philadelphia.

In addition to her executive roles, Markita has served in various legal capacities including Senior Vice President and General Counsel at Clarifi - Lifelong Financial Literacy, Attorney at Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP, and Fellow at Regional Housing Legal Services under the Phila. Bar Foundation.
